The communication of your mind and body is a Psychophysical Internet that is billions of times more sophisticated than the Internet of the world wide web. It is a most amazing biofeedback system and biofeedback machine. Imagine the tremendous complexity of your body and mind with all its cells, systems, organs, senses, and abilities and yet when it is healthy it works so flawlessly and effortlessly that most folks do not know where vital organs like their pancreas and spleen are located!

 

Thus your bodymind and its systems are a unsurpassed model of excellence! Each component and system of your bodymind works synergistically with all the others to allow your whole bodymind to function with ease - and the one that you can monitor most easily is the breathing current of your respiratory system.

 

The Yoga of Seeing is centered on your Breathing

 

Nisarga Yoga is Natural Yoga or the Yoga of Seeing Naturally. All of the benefits to health and well-being are available in the practice and yet what its focus is really about is Seeing. Specifically it is about seeing the order of things and how your body, your mind, and all of its systems work together to form the One Integrated Reality of your life.

 

It is a practice where the inherent intelligence of your body is the teacher. The process of exploring yoga exercises shows you how your conscious and subconscious minds communicate and the places where they are either in communion or chaos. The practice makes it unquestionably clear that the flow of your breath is the link between your body and your mind - thus when your awareness is focused on your breathing you can easily determine whether your bodymind complex is in harmony or discord.

 

When you practice Yoga as a means for you to clearly see how the amazing systems of your bodymind work - then you not only realize the countless benefits to your health and well-being; you also access this superior model of excellence. This means that you have an intimate connection to a model system that you can imitate to help you easily move beyond theories and put your thoughts and dreams into actions. And you do this by simply seeing that the same principles that apply to the yoga practice of your inner world also applies to the bigger picture of life in your outer world. In other words when you practice yoga in this manner, you realize that you are seeing the best model for you to effortlessly achieve your goals in all area of your life.

 

The Yoga of Seeing is simply the practice of concentration where your conscious mind is clearly focused; and meditation, where your conscious mind is allowed to be silent and you naturally access a deeper level of consciousness. The practice is centered on the flow of your breathing as respiration such that there are times that you consciously focus on your breath and there are also times where you relax and simply let it flow. At all times you see that the practice really is as simple as breathing and yet it is as complicated as life - once again this shows that this is the perfect model for you to pattern your activities on because Breath is Life.

 

Lastly, since it is centered on breathing this practice can be incorporated into any Meditation technique that you are presently using, and it can be applied to any system of exercise, and yet the system of Hatha Yoga exercises is one that has stood the test of time.
